Setbacks?

How have you been since the quarantine began? Nerves have you snacking more often? Do you find yourself mindlessly eating to pass time time? Well, you are not alone! These days, I catch myself doing the same thing. Although the scale has not gone up much, my belly fat has! Snacking has a way of sneaking up on even if you are exercising regularly. Why is that? Because most people don't live by the 80/20 rule. This rule states that if we eat clean 80% of the time and indulge 20% of the time, we will be able to manage a healthy weight. Many of us don't realize that 70% of the way our bodies look is a result of our diet. Think about it, most of us workout for about an hour. There are still 23 hours remaining in the day? It would be crazy to think we can eat whatever we want as long as we worked our for a bit. It would also be unhealthy. How can we manage this? But limiting our sweet treats to 1-2 per day, eating clean most of the day and avoid sitting around all day (do laundry, vacuum or any of those tasks we tend to avoid). Your body will thank you!
